PLACEMENTS & CAREER GUIDANCE CELL

The Placement Cell at Chandrabhan Sharma College plays a pivotal role in shaping students for successful careers. Under the leadership of Shri Prashant Sharma (Managing Trustee), Dr. Vaishali Rajput (Director, Skill Development Centre), Prof Sandeep Vishwakarma ( Academic Head) and Prof. Nilesh Shukla (Placement officer). The Cell actively bridges the gap between academia and industry through placement drives, job fairs, and skill development initiatives.

With a strong emphasis on real-world preparedness, the Centre organizes career guidance sessions, technical evaluations, and recruitment events, equipping students with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the professional world. Among its notable accomplishments Placement cell has successfully organised the prestigious citywide Job Fair on 29th April 2025 with over 20 leading companies .The event recorded 1,288 online registrations and witnessed the participation of 535 students from 91 colleges, competing for over 400 job openings.

Some of the key sessions conducted over a year include:

1. Certificate courses across various streams, conducted in collaboration with Skill Development Centre to boost employability.
2. Training in resume writing, group discussions, and personal
3. Career guidance sessions were conducted on a variety of educational and professional pathways, including opportunities for studying abroad, careers in typographic design, and insights into investment banking along with information on globally recognized
4. Seminars were conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams.

In addition to the training sessions, several renowned companies extendeod job offers to third-year students. Some of these esteemed organizations include TCS, CopperGate , Kotak General Insurance, HDFC Bank Silverlink technology , Quality software technology, Sutherland global services, Deutsche Bank, Eviden, eClerx, National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Times Pro, Oneinsure and many more .

The Placement Cell is scheduled to organize the upcoming Job Fair in the month of June 2025.
